Quality
We focus on the Quality of our work and never the Quantity. We take our art seriously and a lotta love has been put into each item. Some of our items far exceeded our own expectations! For us, clothes are just a canvas for what we want to say or what we're inspired to say through music, nature, and life. We gain our inspiration from everything around us. Inspiration is all around you, just open up and let it speak to you. Shop our online store and enjoy! I hope that something speaks to you and that it will help you make that statement you've been trying to say!
This is our work and art, our creative outlet. Many hours are spent at the sewing machine, taking great pride in the artistic design, quality and durability of each item. All fabrics are pre-washed before sewing to eliminate shrinkage… All seams are serged (prevents fraying and gives it a professional look and durability) and either straight stitched or top-stitched (doubled in high stress areas)... Hems and edges are double rolled and double top-stitched… Pockets and bodices are lined and double top-stitched... All appliques are *originally* designed, hand-cut, fused, and satin stitched (strings are tied at the back and fray-check is used to add to it's longevity)... Drawstrings are reinforced with a one or two metal grommet system...

All clothing (unless otherwise mentioned) are completely machine washable, although we believe that it is good practice (and energy efficient) to line dry all clothing.

Ordering
Pre-Mades
Use our shopping cart for premade items, we accept payments through paypal.com where you can use your credit card or checking account. We also accept money orders. If you are paying by money order, please email me and I will put an item on hold for you, but payment must be received within 7 days or I will put it back on the rack.
Custom Orders
We are not accepting custom orders at this time, sorry. All custom made returns are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. To order custom work please fill out the form on the build your own links or email customorders@alteredstatement.com All orders are made in order they are recieved. Payment of half the balance is due when ordering and the remaining is due before shipping.

Shipping
We ship everything U.S. Postal service priority mail flat rate delievery with delivery confirmation Monday through Friday, within 3 business days of you ordering for.

Returns
I truly believe that everything I make has a destiny. So if what you’ve ordered isn’t a perfect match for you, return it for a store credit (minus the shipping) and we’ll work together to find something that works for you. Although each item might have a destiny, YOUR free will ends after 7 days when all sales are final. Returns must be unworn and/or uncut and you must notify me within 24 hours of delivery.
