Altered Statement has been many things, making friends and family along the way. The momentum has changed directions with each new turn in life. Altered Statement began in beautifully green Eugene, Oregon and blossomed in Holtwood, Pennsylvania... and has been growing and flourishing on our round about trip from there to Seattle to Portland as we circle back around.
Altered Statement has been a test of time, travel, and love. From the creative workings of Ang and Ian, from hand dyeing our own hemp fabric to the designing and creating of one of a kind wearable art clothing, Altered Statement is our breath of life, our sweat and tears. We LOVE what we do, and YOU make that possible.
It is important to us to strongly support independent artists. They put themselves and their many years of experience into each and everything they make. Hand made is quality, it's life, and it's worth it.

Our Family
Email Ang - I am the owner/creator of Altered Statement. I'm the one you talk to by email, I do all the website design, ordering/shipping, customer service, and I also design and construct handmade clothing.
Email Ian - Ian is our Dye Master and has made this his craft. It takes a lot of time, muscles, science, math, and above all patience. Ian's work is top quality and we know that you'll LOVE the fabrics and colors! Ian also does all the applique designs, working closely with Ang for concept and collection.
